Helping Foster Children Find Hope, Healing and Belonging — One Gentle Hoofbeat at a Time

The Foster Hearts Fund was created to ensure that every foster child has the opportunity to participate in Gentle Hooves: Fostering Hope, regardless of financial circumstances. Through the healing power of animal connection, nature, creativity, and community, Gentle Hooves provides foster children with a safe space to build confidence, develop emotional regulation skills, create positive memories, and simply experience the joy of being a kiddo. Many foster families already face significant challenges and expenses. The Foster Hearts Fund helps bridge the gap by covering program costs, supplies, activities, and experiences so children can participate with little or no financial burden on their caregivers. Every donation directly supports local foster children by helping provide: • Six weeks of trauma-informed farm programming • Goat interactions and animal care experiences • Nature exploration and outdoor learning • Creative projects and take-home activities • Social-emotional skill building • Safe spaces, connection, and belonging A gift of any size makes a difference. $25 helps provide program supplies and materials. $50 helps fund activities and enrichment experiences. $100 helps cover a foster family's participation fee. $250 sponsors a foster child for the full 6-week Gentle Hooves: Fostering Hope journey. Together, we can create a place where foster children feel seen, supported, valued, and free to simply be themselves. Because every child deserves connection, compassion, and a place to belong.
